The virus know as HIV is quietly going to wipe out a significant number of African Americans if there is not a monumental shift in behavior in our schools, households, society. In the city of Washington D.C. one out of every 20 African Americans are infected with the virus. The numbers are so alarming that the Center for Disease Control had to re calculate their statistics to capture the full magnitude of the crisis.
